From Dread Central:

One of the most underrated horror movies of 2020 is also one of the best genre anthologies of the 21st Century. I’m talking about The Mortuary Collection! If you missed it, RLJE Films will release The Mortuary Collection on VOD, Digital HD, DVD, and Blu-ray on April 20th, 2021.

Synopsis:
Set in the phantasmagorical town of Raven’s End, nothing is as it seems…. In The Mortuary Collection, a misguided young girl takes refuge in a decrepit old mortuary. There she meets Montgomery Dark, an eccentric undertaker with more than a few skeletons in his closet. Montgomery chronicles the strange history of the town through a series of twisted tales, each more terrifying than the last, but the young girl’s world is unhinged when she discovers that the final story…is her own.

Written and directed by Ryan Spindell (50 States of Fright, The Babysitter Murders), The Mortuary Collection stars Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption, Thor: Ragnarok), Caitlin Custer (Teen Wolf, Swingtown), Christine Kilmer (Hollywood, Shameless), and Jacob Elordi (The Kissing Booth franchise, Euphoria). Jacob Elordi From ‘The Kissing Booth’ Will Star In A Terrifying New Horror Film

The Mortuary Collection looks set to be one of this year’s must-see movies…

Jacob Elordi may be best known for his starring role in The Kissing Booth and his budding romance with his brilliant co-star Joey King but that could all be about to change. Not only is he going to act in a new HBO show, Euphoria, with living legend Zendaya, but he is also going to front a new horror film called The Mortuary Collection.

Written and directed by scary movie king Ryan Spindell, The Mortuary Collection tells the tale of a young girl who stumbles across a mortuary and soon finds herself the subject of a world of horror. To make things even more exciting, it apparently taps into four major horror sub genres: slasher, monster, ghost and thriller.

On top of that The Mortuary Collection is due to come out at some point later this year. In other words, we are going to be blessed with a brand new Jacob Elordi film in a matter of mere months. It’s okay. We’re hyperventilating too.

Jacob will play the role of Jake in the film. As it stands, little is known about his character but, considering just how gifted an actor Jake is, we imagine that his performance will be nothing short of amazing. If it’s anywhere near as good as his one in The Kissing Booth, we’re in for a treat.

Jacob will star alongside other talents such as Barak Hardely (Master of None), Brennan Murray (Jane the Virgin) and Emma Horvath (Like.Share.Follow.) in the highly anticipated new feature. A trailer is yet to be released for it but we will be sure to update you as soon as it does.

We cannot wait to see it and find out what else Jacob stars in next.
